Phd studentships in Plymouth (UK)

The faculty expects to fund a total of 19 studentships from those described below.
Marine science and engineering:
Studentships will focus on: 
  • Coastal processes
  • Marine physics
  • Coastal engineering, including wave impact damage and fluid-structure interactions
  • Robotics and autonomous marine vehicles
  • Marine renewable energy
  • Marine biology, including ocean acidification
  • Habitat mapping and the ecology of coastal defenses.
