About the Conference

ICES Annual Science Conference is a forum for an international community of marine scientists, professionals, and students to share their work in theme-based series of oral and poster presentations. Each year, the conference is hosted by one of our 20 Member Countries.



The 2014 conference will include talks by three invited keynote speakers, and oral and poster presentations selected on the basis of submitted abstracts.

Topics

The Programme will address a variety of topics: Jellyfish, MPA’s, Integrated Ecosystem Assessments, bioarchives, genomics, the Arctic, stock assessments, Harmful algal blooms, biofouling, top predators, size in the oceans, ecosystem services, CFP and MSFD, cephalopod fisheries, ocean circulation, and diadromous fish.

Abstracts

The Call for Abstracts is now open.
The deadline for abstract submission is 14 April at noon.

Please read the Call for Papers thoroughly prior to abstract submission. Abstracts that do not meet the technical requirements will not be considered.
