PhD Position on sediment metabolism and secondary production of macrobenthos as indicators of ecosystem functioning
Experienced Researcher (postdoctoral) position on sediment metabolism and secondary production of macrobenthos as indicators of ecosystem functioning.6-month ER position within the Marie Curie Initial Training Network “Monitoring of Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas” (MMMPA) working at the University of Athens.
MMMPA aims to train the next generation of MPA scientists and managers, equipping them with a flexible set of skills essential within a wide range of professional environments, including public administration, local authorities, industry and academia. They will focus on the most important aspects that need adequate conservation.
The selected candidate will work on sediment metabolism in a protected lagoon in Greece, participating in the organization of sampling and on the establishment of laboratory methodology. He/she will contribute to the initial training of a Ph.D student.
Gross monthly salary up to € 4'592.25 plus a monthly mobility allowance, ranging from € 659.40 to € 942.00, according to the family situation of the researcher.
